More than 20 years of hiking in Pico Duarte

Hiking to reach the summit of Pico Duarte has been our daily routine for the past two decades (wow, we’re getting old!).

We have a successful ascent record… over 99% of our hikers make it to the top! And our guides make the journey as memorable as the summit itself: born and raised in these mountains, they are passionate, skilled, and will enthusiastically share their knowledge.

If you’re not into strenuous climbs, don’t worry, we have low-impact hikes that you’ll love on our tour of Tetero Valley. Small groups, big adventures, and responsible travel, that’s why we’re considered the best.

I first climbed Pico Duarte when I was 8 years old, and even though many years have passed since then, I feel the same fascination as I did as a child every time I reach its summit. In fact, sharing this feeling has become one of the most important goals of my life. On the trails, paths, and peaks of this mountain range, simple things like a sip of water, a hot meal, a campfire, and a hug take on a whole new dimension.
